There is a new Webcam in the market which is a business webcam or also a teleconferencing webcam. Logitech has brought this new webcam C930e that will offer an extra wide 90 degree field of view at a resolution of 1080p (30 frames per second).
The C930e is a full HD capable webcam. It can process video in-camera and help reduce the computer processor’s load. The C930e supports the H.264 SVC and UVC 1.5 video encoding standards which allow the processing will be carried out within the webcam and the PC will continue to do its own tasks and not spending its processing power for the webcam tasks. The webcam has high definition digital pan, tilt and zoom features. The digital pan-tilt-zoom feature of C930e can maintain the HD image at up to 4x magnification.
The Logitech C930e webcam sports Carl Zeiss-certified glass lens that helps in avoiding fish eye distortion, which can normally occur with wide angle imaging. The C930e is intelligent enough to dynamically adjust and use the available bandwidth for the HD video streams maximizing the performance in image processing. The Logitech RightLight 2 technology enables the webcam to adjust the image automatically in low light situations and improve image visual quality.
The C930e connects to your PC using USB2.0 port and can be used for most of the video conferencing apps, like Skype. The Logitech Webcam C930e is compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, and Mac OS X 10.7 and greater. The webcam has a built in stereo microphone and external shutter.
The dimensions of the webcam are 94mm x 29mm x 24mm while standing on its clips.
