Suddenly, without Prior announcement in the UK Samsung has released a digital camera with a familiar name Samsung WB100. Recall that in the same way Samsung has announced the Compact Digital Camera Designated in 2009. This device is allocated with a 3-inch AMOLED-display, and a same Samsung WB100 variant in 2012 is upgraded with a high level of optical zoom.
Unfortunately, this new product is not much known because of its less promotion. This Samsung WB100 uses Samsung’s 26x optical zoom lens level that the 35mm equivalent of 22,3-579,8 mm. Another interesting feature of the Product – is to use Standard Batteries or rechargeable Batteries of size AA.
Without Batteries, Samsung WB100 weights around 403g. It has got a 16-Megapixel photo-sensor, but its size is unknown. For a device with such a wide optical zoom Capability another required feature is Image Stabilization and it has this feature. In WB100 Samsung uses just two Systems: Digital and optical.
It is also known about the possibility of making panoramic and 3D Images-Image. The Level of Sensitivity Ranges from 80 to 1600 ISO, plus there is a mode of ISO 3200, but when using it, the picture size is reduced to 3 megapixels. Video recording is carried out at 720p and 30 frames per Second. The Estimated Cost is € 220 for super-zoom model. In the UK, the Camera is available in Red and Black Colour. The Release Date of new Samsung WB100 in other regions of the world is not yet known.
