Luxury Smartphone maker Vertu has launched its first Android-operated handset Vertu Ti costing 7,900 euros. Earlier the company was owned by Nokia so its phones had the Nokia look.
Now apparently its British owned with headquarters in Church Crookham, Hampshire.
Vertu Ti has titanium casing and leather accents, made of sapphire crystals, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, 1.7GHz dual-core processors, very good 64GB of storage, 8-megapixel camera at rear, a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front. The rear camera shoots video in 1080p.
The Vertu Ti smart phone, is hardly impressive as compared to other phones such as the iPhone 5, Galaxy S3, Nexus 4 or Nokia Lumia 920. With technology changing by the day, why on earth would someone want to buy a Smartphone costing around £7000 is beyond me. May be I’ll realize when (and IF) I’m a millionaire.
You may be better off buying a standard Smartphone that gives great usability and specs and buy diamond cover for it! Keep changing the Smartphone when it evolves.
