Xperia tipo and Xperia tipo dual smartphone

Recently, Sony Mobile officially announced two new low end phones – Xperia Tipo (ST21a, ST21i) and the Xperia tipo dual (ST21i2, ST21a2). Xperia tipo uses the same chipset, 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7225A, which will be used in the Xperia miro , and will have 512 MB of RAM and 2.9GB of internal memory (2.5 GB user available), as well as support for memory cards microSD. Xperia tipo dual – analog Xperia tipo, adds support for two SIM-cards.


Both models come with a 3.2-inch (320 x 480) display. Other features include a 3.2MP camera resolution with a VGA-video recording and 1500mAh battery provides 5 hours of talk time and up to 8 hours of video playback. Xperia tipo come in four colors (classic black, classic white, deep red and blue), while the Xperia tipo dual will be available in two colors (black and silver). Both phones will be launched globally in the 3rd quarter of 2012 with Android 4,0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
