In the line of smartphones offered by Japanese operator NTT DoCoMo, a new model – Sharp Aquos Phone Zeta SH-02E has entered.
Sharp Aquos Phone Zeta SH-02E is the first device using the technology displays Sharp IGZO allows saving energy. Sharp has introduced the Advanced Display Technologies IGZO (Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide) and presented prototypes based on it at IFA 2012. IGZO displays have higher transparency than conventional LCD, which reduces the need for lighting, resulting in saving energy, which is important for mobile devices.
Sharp planned to produce panels IGZO-size 10-inch (2560 x 1600), 7-inch (1280 x 800) and 32-inch (3840 x 2160) display and ready the device only in 2013. According to some rumors, the next generation Apple iPad, will be presented in early 2013, will use that displays with support for Sharp IGZO.
The very same smartphone Sharp Aquos Phone Zeta SH-02E has a 4.9-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 16 megapixel camera on, S4 Pro quad-core 1.5 GHz, support for NFC and LTE. This Sharp Aquos Phone Zeta SH-02E Device running Android 4.0 will be available in Japan in November or December of this year.
