The company Western Digital, known as a manufacturer of storage systems, has released two devices in a series of network equipment: routers Western Digital My Net AC1300 and bridge My Net AC.
Router Western Digital My Net AC1300 offers support for high-speed wireless standard Wi-Fi 802.11ac. This device is a dual-band solution, capable of operating in the frequency bands 2.4 and 5 GHz. The frequency of 2.4 GHz is used for the standard, 802.11n, and 5 GHz – for standard 802.11ac. Both ranges can be used simultaneously, thus providing low latency and interference. This new Western Digital router offer maximum data transfer 450 1300 MB / s. Improve the reception and transmission of wireless signal called a horizontal array antenna 3×3. Additionally the device has four Ethernet ports and two Gigabit Ethernet ports USB 2.0. The presented model supports proprietary technology FasTrack. It automatically analyzes network traffic and gives high priority traffic to online gaming, video streaming services, Netflix and YouTube, video calling service Skype. My Net AC bridge is a simple device designed for the networking of up to four devices with a wired connection, as well as devices with Wi-Fi connection.
New devices Western Digital My Net AC1300 and My Net AC are now on sale in the U.S. for a suggested retail price of $ 190 and $ 150.
